Earlier this month, Build Bright Care Group had the profound honor of attending the Autism Health Summit 2025 — a powerful, parent-driven conference dedicated to advancing autism care and support. Our Clinical Director, Ivana Labuckas, represented our team, engaging deeply with professionals, researchers, advocates, and families to explore the latest developments in autism therapies and holistic treatment approaches.
The Autism Health Summit 2025 provided a dynamic platform for collaboration and learning, rooted not just in current research, but also in the lived experiences of the autism community. Events like these reaffirm our mission at Build Bright: to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care for teens and families, always informed by the voices and needs of the people we serve.

Meaningful Connections and Reunions
A highlight of the summit for Ivana was reconnecting with her longtime colleague, Dr. Shannon Kroner. It was a full-circle moment seeing Dr. Kroner now sharing her children’s books and advocating passionately for families within the autism community. These personal connections remind us that our work is about more than treatment plans — it’s about heart, collaboration, and hope.
Exploring New Resources and Partnerships
While at the summit, Ivana visited the R.E.A.C.T. booth, an inspiring space devoted to providing resources and advocacy for children with autism and their families. Discovering innovative partners and community-based programs that align with our values is critical to our mission. We are always seeking new ways to expand our network of support for neurodiverse youth.
Another inspiring encounter was connecting with Katy LeVasseur from Children’s Health Defense. Her dedication to advocacy and outreach reflects a shared commitment to protecting and uplifting children’s health nationwide. Conversations like these fuel our determination to work collectively toward a brighter, healthier future for every child.

Honoring the Visionaries
We extend our deepest gratitude to Tracy Slepcevic — bestselling author of Warrior Mom, Certified Integrative Health Coach, and founder of Autism Health Inc. — for curating such a heart-centered, impactful experience. Tracy’s 15+ years of dedication to autism advocacy, research, and education were evident in every aspect of the summit. Through her leadership, the event beautifully blended science, holistic care, and community spirit, creating an environment where professionals and families came together to envision new possibilities for autism support.
Bringing Insights Home to Build Bright
Our experience at the Autism Health Summit 2025 was not just educational — it was transformational. We return inspired, informed, and even more committed to integrating these insights into our programs at Build Bright Care Group. By staying connected to both the latest research and the real-world experiences of families, we strengthen our ability to provide whole-child, compassionate care that honors every individual’s unique journey.
Thank you to the Autism Health Summit community for welcoming us, inspiring us, and reminding us why we do what we do. We look forward to continuing to grow, collaborate, and advocate alongside you.
